Care and Support Society was established in the year 1995 with its head office in Mokokchung within the state of Nagaland. The Society is a product of troubled times in the state when drugs abuse and insurgency were at its peak. The Society initially started by taking care of people infected with AIDS and creating awareness among the people. Gradually, it expanded into other areas of concern such as working with Differently Abled Persons, TB patients, Family Counselling, drop-out students, unemployed youths, farmers and orphans.
Programmes
Besides the sustainability of the various programmes, effective managemnt of resources and improving access to health services, Care and Support Society primarily focus on Health Care, Counselling, Rehabilitation and Training.
