Family Counselling Center
The Family Counselling Centre addresses problems in families such as:
- Marital maladjustments and extra-marital affairs.
- Personality differences
- Substance abuse
- Economic crisis
- Unwanted pregnancies and related problems
MOBILE ICTC
Mobile-ICTC undertakes blood test for HIV and counselling in rural areas where villagers do not have access to any proper health care and testing facilities. Besides distribution of IEC materials, condoms and educating through media, Mobile-ICTC also conducts awareness camps.
COMMUNITY BASED REHABILITATION
Community Based Rehabilitation focuses on the welfare of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). It lays emphasis on five areas:
- Health
- Education
- Livelihood
- Social
- Empowerment
LEARNING SITE
Learning Site is committed to impart and train peer Educators and Outreach Workers. The programme is currently involved in training personnels from the Target Intervention and other institutions on issues such as harm reduction for Injecting Drug Users (IDUs).
TARGETED INTERVENTION
Targeted Intervention operates in rural areas with Drop-in Centres. The role of this project includes but not limited to:
- Providing knowledge and awareness on HIV and Aids, its ways of transmission and clearance of misconceptions and conducting tests.
- Promotion of practising safe sex and distribution of condoms.
KIMANG CARE TRUST
Kimang Care Trust is a project that cater to the needs and welfare of orphans, people with disabilities and HIV positive children. KCT do not have any proper source to fund the project but with the help of donors, the Trust has been able to provide financial support and counselling to children.
